Where to download the correct package for Foxit PDF Editor?

The current document mainly provides common ways to obtain product download links, as follows:

If you encounter any of the error messages listed below during the activation process, or if there is no option to enter the registration code for your perpetual license, it indicates that you have installed the incorrect package. Please note that we differentiate packages for perpetual licenses (using versions 13, V14 or later) and subscription licenses (using version 2025 and later).

Error messages during activation process, which indicates that you have installed the wrong package:

"The version number of Foxit PDF Editor is incorrect”
" You are currently using the Perpetual version of the Editor, which requires a perpetual license for activation. Please install the appropriate version of the Editor or change your license to a perpetual license."

When you meet these error message during activation process, please first check the version of Foxit PDF Editor you installed. You can check this in Control Panel: access Control Panel, click "Programs and Features", scroll down to find Foxit PDF Editor and see the version on the right side.

If you find that you installed the wrong package or you're not sure if you install the right package, please uninstall it first, then download the correct package and install again.

Here are some ways for you to download the correct package.

1.Get the download link from your order confirmation email.
Go to your inbox and find order confirmation email from Foxit Software, and download the correct package by the link provided in Foxit email.

2.Download the Foxit software from the "My Orders" section within your Foxit account on the Foxit website.

1）Log in to the Foxit website using your Foxit account. Once logged in, click on your profile initials located at the top of the page. From the drop-down menu, select My Orders. In the My Orders section, you can view all your orders under Online Orders or Offline Orders, which will list them separately.

2)You can also find out the language information of Foxit PDF Editor Application that corresponds to the license in the order.

Note: Only the Foxit account linked to the order's "Bill To" email can access order information. For purchases made through third parties (e.g., resellers, distributors, or partners), the "Ship To" end user cannot view order details on the website.

3.For licenses managed in Admin Console, download the suitable package from Admin Console.
1)If your licenses are purchased with the Foxit Admin Console, you can also download the package through the Admin Console License Management (foxit.com). After accessing Admin Console by super admin account, navigate to the Products Tab,click on this icon as shown in the screenshot below to open the Product Details tab on the right:

2)From here, you can select the icon of the software you need to download. For example, if you want to download Foxit PDF Editor for Mac, simply click the OS icon, and it will automatically initiate the download for the application you need.

4.Download Foxit Software under License Management section within your Foxit account on the Foxit website.

In the License Management section, please select the product category your license belongs to (e.g., Foxit PDF Editor). Under the selected category, your Foxit products will be displayed. Click the yellow download button next to the product to download it, as shown in the screenshot below.

Note: For both online and offline orders, users can log in to the Foxit website with the order's "ship to" email address to access the product download link in the License Management section.

5.Download from Foxit Account > My Products.

Owners or assigned users of Foxit PDF Editor or PDF Editor+ subscription licenses can sign in to the Foxit Online Portal and download the software from the "My Apps" page under "My Products."
