Troubleshooting: username and date/time of a newly added regular dynamic stamp are incorrect.

Answer

In Foxit PDF Editor, we provide regular dynamic stamps and they can be found in Comment > Stamp > Dynamic Stamps:

Sometimes, after adding a regular dynamic stamp, you may find that the user name and date/time are incorrect in this newly added regular dynamic stamp: user name keeps showing "Foxit User"; time and date keeps showing "10:36:44, 10/31/2017". Below is an example of a newly added regular dynamic stamp with incorrect user name and date:

Then, how to solve this problem?

The most possible reason for this problem is that JavaScript action must have been disabled in Foxit PDF Editor. Thus, please following the instruction below to enable JavaScript action in Foxit PDF Editor:
  1. Launch Foxit PDF Editor.
  2. In Foxit PDF Editor, go to File > Preferences to open Preferences window.
  3. In Preferences window, find "JavaScript" in the left panel. Please ensure to tick "Enable JavaScript Action" and click "OK" to save the change.

    (Usually, this change will take effect immediately. In case that this change doesn't take effect immediately, you may re-launch Foxit PDF Editor.)

Then, please use Comment > Stamp to add a regular dynamic stamp again. This time, user name and date/time would be shown correctly in the newly added regular dynamic stamp. For example:
