Both iD-One and iAM Smart are legally equivalent and recognised under Hong Kong's Electronic Transactions Ordinance (ETO) (Cap 553). Your chosen method and verification timestamp are recorded in the Foxit eSign audit trail alongside your signature.
iD-One is backed by a Personal (Remote) ID-Cert Class 12 digital certificate, issued by Digi-Sign — a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tradelink and the only commercial Recognized Certification Authority under the ETO in Hong Kong.
