Asana, a leading project management tool, empowers teams with a centralized platform to seamlessly organize, track, and manage workflow. Recognizing the need for streamlined document collaboration, Foxit has integrated the PDF Editor Cloud with Asana, enabling users to edit, annotate and collaborate on PDF files directly within Asana.
Connect Foxit PDF Cloud to Asana
1.Access to Asana workspace https://app.asana.com/ and open a project.
2.Click on the "Customize" button in the right-hand sidebar of the project. Scroll down to the "Apps" section and click it. Find the Foxit PDF Editor cloud and click on “Add to project”.
3. You’ll be asked to connect your Foxit account to complete setup. Use your Foxit account to sign in or create one if you’re new.
4. It will prompt message “You added Foxit PDF Editor Cloud to a Project”. Foxit PDF Editor is now added to your project.
Share and collaborate the PDF Editor file
1. Open or create a task in the project where Foxit PDF Editor Cloud is installed and click Add from Foxit Editor Cloud.
2. Select the PDF file from your Foxit PDF Cloud storage. It will be automatically added.
3. Click on the Plus icon to add the collaborators, enter the email of the team members, add comments and click on Sent invitation.
4. The invited team members can follow the link provided to open the PDF Editor file, add & share comments.
Note: To collaborate, all invited users must have an Asana account. Similarly, to access a shared Foxit PDF file, they must also have a Foxit account.
If you need to remove PDF Editor Cloud from Project, please open the project with Editor Cloud, click on “Customize” then click on “Apps” and select Foxit PDF Editor Cloud.
Click Remove from Project.
Note：
- The integration doesn’t support Asana for mobile.
- Foxit PDF Editor Cloud for Asana is currently only available for users with Foxit accounts registered in the US instance.
