Applies to: Foxit Workspace, version 0.1.3 and laterWhat is a Project in Foxit Workspace?A Project is the core organizational unit in Foxit Workspace. Each Project is its own independent knowledge space that holds two kinds of content: your Sources (the files you upload) and Artifacts (the outputs AI generates from them). All Sources inside a Project are indexed together, so AI Chat can search and cite across everything in that Project at once.
How do I create a new Project?- Open Foxit Workspace and go to the Home page.
- Click + Create Project at the top of the left navigation.
- Enter a project name (required).
- Optionally, drag files into the Sources area to add them right away, and/or add notes in Project Context (scope, constraints, terms, or key decisions the AI should keep in mind for this project).
- Click OK.
Workspace opens the new project immediately, ready for you to add more Sources or start chatting with AI.
The Home page's left navigation has four sections: Home (all your projects), Archived, Shared (projects others have shared with you), and Search (search across projects, files, and content). Below the navigation, a Pinned section lists any project you've pinned, as a one-click shortcut.
