Getting Started

How to Install the Integration

You can install Foxit PDF Editor Cloud via:

  • The Asana App Directory
  • Within a project:
    1. Open a project and click Customize → Apps

    2. Click + Add App, search for Foxit PDF Editor Cloud, and click Add to Project

    3. Sign in with your Foxit account or create one if you're new

How to Use It

  1. Open or create a task in your Asana project
  2. Click Add from Foxit Editor Cloud

  3. Select a PDF from your Cloud Document list
  4. Click the PDF link to open and collaborate in Foxit Editor Cloud

How to Remove the Integration

  1. Open the project and click Customize → Apps

  2. Click Foxit PDF Editor Cloud

  3. Select Remove from Project

Common Questions

Can I add multiple PDFs to the same task?

No, only one PDF can be attached per task.

How long does my login session stay active?

Your session remains active for 7 days of inactivity. After that, you’ll need to log in again.

Which regions can access the integration?

Currently, only users with accounts registered in the US region can access Foxit PDF Editor Cloud for Asana. Expansion to other regions is planned.

What if my account is not from the US?

You’ll receive a notification that the integration isn’t available in your region. You can still use Foxit PDF Editor Cloud’s core features via PDF Editor Cloud.


Subscription & Access

Do collaborators need a Foxit subscription?

No. Only the document owner needs a subscription. Collaborators can:

  • View and edit shared documents
  • Comment and annotate
  • Download copies (if permitted)

Can I collaborate without a subscription?

Yes. You just need a Foxit account (free or paid) to collaborate.

 It supports:

  • Individual users & freelancers

  • Medium to large enterprises
