Support for Foxit PDF Editor v11 and v12 has been discontinued as of August 13, 2025. Upgrade to v14 to continue receiving support.

 

The solution will be to remove the data from the Registry.

Method 1: Remove via CMD

For 2023/2024:

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Continuous\Advanced" /f

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Continuous\plugins\CPDFServer" /f

For v13:

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Classic\13.0\Advanced" /f

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\Classic\13.0\plugins\CPDFServer" /f

For v12:

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor 12.0\Advanced" /f

reg delete "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor 12.0\plugins\CPDFServer" /f

For v11:

Method 2: Remove via running REG file

Create a new .reg file, copy and paste the content below to the .reg file. Then run the REG file.

Enterprise customers can deploy the per-user registry file using tools such as GPO/Intune/SCCM, etc.
