Lists the new features, improvements, and fixes included in the January 2026 release of Foxit eSign.

Answer

We’ve rolled out several enhancements to improve integrations, document uploads, signer flexibility, and overall signing experience.

Your feedback is important to us. Send your suggestions to esignsupport@foxit.com as we continue improving upcoming releases.

1. Print & Sign (Wet Signature Upload)

Signers can now print, manually sign, and upload a signed document when digital signing isn’t possible.

What’s included:

  • “Print & Sign” option under More Actions
  • Upload the signed PDF to complete signing
  • Admins can enable or disable this feature from Account Settings

2. Editable Executed Email Header & Footer

Users with personalized email settings can now edit the header and footer of the Envelope Executed Email, improving branding and communication consistency.

3. Improved Access to “Change Sign”

The Change Sign option is now available under More Actions, in addition to being accessible from the signature field, making it easier for signers to find.

4. New Beta Integrations (On Request)

New Beta connectors are now available:

  • HRIS: Paycom
  • ATS: ADP Run

Beta integrations are fully tested but still in early adoption. A Beta message is shown when connecting, and access can be requested via Foxit Support.

5. Upload from Connected File Storage

Users can now upload documents directly from connected file storage when creating documents or templates.

Key highlights:

  • Only connected storage providers are shown
  • Available across Home, Create, Prepare, and Template flows
  • Multiple files supported for documents; single file for templates
  • Existing file type and size validations remain unchanged
6. Signature Field Border Rendering Fixed

We’ve resolved an issue where signature and initial field borders appeared thicker after execution, ensuring a consistent and clean document appearance.

7. Template Field Validation Fixed

Field validation issues in templates have been fixed, ensuring proper enforcement of input rules (such as numeric-only phone fields) across all supported browsers.

8. Preview Documents While Preparing (On-Demand)

Users can now preview documents during preparation using sample data, helping validate field placement and mappings before sending.
