Answer
If you are unable to see these icons/options please check to verify the plugin is enabled.
On the ribbon - click on Help - Plug-in Management - scroll down to Bookmark - make sure it is not disabled. If it is click on the switch to toggle it to be enabled. Once enabled close Editor and reopen it and the bookmark functions should appear again.
