Assign Multiple Foxit PDF Editor Licenses to a User

Explains how to assign multiple Foxit PDF Editor licenses to a single user so it can be used on multiple devices.

Answer

At present, there is no way to assign multiple licenses to the same email address. We recommend assigning additional licenses to other email addresses so that the user requiring multiple licenses can use those email addresses to activate Foxit PDF Editor on other devices. However, if the user does not have access to other email addresses and the Foxit PDF Editor licenses are directly under a Foxit account (not under the Foxit Admin console platform), the user requiring multiple licenses will need to create new email addresses to create new Foxit accounts before the licenses admin can assign the additional licenses to these new accounts.

If the user does not have access to other email addresses and the licenses are managed within the Foxit Admin console platform, as a workaround, the user requiring multiple licenses can use non-existent email addresses for the additional licenses.

Here's what you can do:

  • The super admin should navigate to the User ID Management tab in the Foxit Admin console platform > Users > Invited Users and select the "Invite users" tab to send invitations and assign Foxit PDF Editor licenses to the non-existent email addresses.

  • Set the status to "Awaiting Acceptance". Users who have not yet received an email invitation will be listed. Next, go to the "Resend Invitation" drop-down menu and choose "Create Invitation Link". A popup will appear with the invite link, which the super admin can manually send to the user.

  • The user can open the link, enter the non-existent email, click continue, provide personal information like the first name, last name, and password, then click Sign Up to complete the registration process and become an invited user with an assigned Foxit PDF Editor license in the Foxit Admin console platform.
